KDU students on an educational tour at HIP!

Students from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) - Southern Campus visited HIP on Wednesday 17th, to familiarize themselves with the FiFi (Fire Fighting) system of the port which comprises various fire protection and detection systems.

The first-year students reading for a bachelor's degree program in Quantity Surveying visited FiFi control stations & facilities of the port to understand the technologies vested with the latest equipment and also were given the insight to enhance their knowledge about the QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) protocol of the port.
