Delegation from the Japanese Embassy in Sri Lanka Visits Hambantota International Port
The Deputy Head of the Japanese Mission Kotaro Katsuki together with the Defence Attaché Gaku Fukaura, met with the COO of HIPG Tissa Wickramasinghe and the CEO of HIPS Captain Ravi Jayawickrama, marking the arrival of a Japanese naval vessel which belongs to the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force that called HIP early this week.
The delegation was introduced to HIP through a quick introductory presentation and was taken to the 12th floor of the Hambantota Maritime Center for a birds-eye view of the port. The delegation was then briefed on the various aspects of the operations and development of the port, including the facilities and benefits available to investors who collaborate with HIP.
